Health Sciences
The Health Sciences program prepares students for a future in this exciting and in-demand field, including an introduction to health science concepts and hands-on procedures.
Health Sciences CTE courses include
2 semesters of Anatomy & Physiology with concurrent credit offered through Red Rocks for Medical Terminology (3 credits)
2 semesters of Pathophysiology including phlebotomy training and certification.
*3 Semesters of any combination of HS CTE courses awards students a cord for graduation
Other, non-CTE Health Sciences courses include 1 semester of Sports Medicine including CPR training and Certification
