Before test day

Testing room assignments will be posted prior to testing in student's Class of... Google Classroom. 

Arrival

• All students will enter and exit through the main entrance.
• All students must be in their testing room by 8:30 a.m.

Testing

• Students must bring their student ID and their fully charged school-issued Chromebooks for the digital exam.
• No baseball caps or other brimmed hats may be worn.  
• Students may not wear their hoodies on their heads during the test session.
• No cellphones or smartwatches in testing rooms! These items may lead to test score invalidation. If a student has a cellphone or smartwatch, the test proctor will collect and store the device until the conclusion of the test. 
• Students will finish around 11 a.m. (Students with accommodations will finish at various times.)

Departure

• Lunch will be available in the cafeteria at 11:30 a.m.
• Students may leave school when they finish testing. Students may wait for their transportation in the library or outside the main entrance so as not to disturb students still testing.
• Students who ride the bus are supervised in the library until the end of the school day at 3:45 p.m.
• There will be no classes after testing.

Testing follows the College Board set schedule. The following AP exam information applies to all AP exams. Please read carefully.

Sign Up

• Students enroll in their AP Classrooms with their teachers.  This is the platform that they use to indicate their decision to take the exam. Fall decision deadline: October 4; Spring decision deadline: March 13, 2026. 
  • Students who do not indicate their decision by the deadline will automatically be changed to indicate they are NOT taking the exam.  Any change requests will incur a $40 late fee for changes.
  • For late registrants, an additional $40 is added to each $99 exam fee

• Check-in begins at 7:45 a.m.
• Students will not be admitted to the exam after check-in concludes.
• Morning exam end times are approximate.

Check-in details

• Check-in location: Testing rooms are posted in the Class of ... Google Classroom by student ID number. 
• Bring a student ID or driver’s license (students may not be admitted without an ID).
• Bring two No. 2 wood pencils (no mechanical pencils) and two blue or black pens.
• Bring an approved calculator (if applicable).

Test details

•  Cell phones, smartwatches and other digital devices are not permitted. Electronic communication devices should remain outside the testing room and not be accessed until all testing is complete.
•  AP scores will be available in early July on APScore.org. 
•  Student attendance will be marked excused during their exams. 
•  Students taking morning exams will be excused from class during missed periods as well as time for lunch afterward.
• Students taking afternoon exams will be excused so they may have lunch before their testing as well as their afternoon classes.
