Evergreen High School is a phenomenal community high school nestled in the mountains of Evergreen Colorado. Our graduates are enrolled in all of Colorado’s public and private colleges and universities as well as the most prestigious institutions of higher education throughout the nation and world. EHS engages all students in rigorous, creative, and innovative educational experiences that prepare them to advance the global community.
- EHS is a comprehensive public high school located in a small mountain community in the foothills west of Denver, serving grades 9 through 12.
- EHS is one of 18 high schools in the Jefferson County Public School District R-1 (JPS).
- Over 70% of students participate in athletics, clubs, and activities.
- Over 70% of students volunteer and perform community service. EHS is unique in offering students an opportunity to earn a varsity letter in Community Service for completing a minimum of 115 hours of community service in one year.
- EHS offers 32 clubs to include interest clubs, co-curricular clubs, and honor societies.
- EHS athletes participate in 26 sports.
- EHS students earn state and national recognitions in instrumental, music, business, and STEM competitions.

Faculty and Accreditation
The EHS staff is a team of dedicated and professional educators who truly care about the success of each student. With an average of 19 years of teaching experience and over 80% with graduate degrees, the teaching staff of 50 brings a wealth of expertise and real-world experience to the classroom. This contributes greatly to the outstanding results that EHS students achieve. Three assistant principals, three school counselors, and one school psychologist provide students with support services. EHS is fully accredited by the Colorado Department of Education.
